HEARTSAVER FIRST AID COURSE INFORMATION
Heartsaver First Aid Online Part 1 is a Web-based, self-directed program. This program teaches students critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Content includes how to help a victim with bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.

AHA cpr first aid certification Course Overview
This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid for a job, regulatory or other requirement and is seeking an alternative to classroom-based training.

eLearning (online lessons blended with hands-on skills session) Call 317.786.7260 to schedule a skills evaluation session.

AHA CPR First Aid Certification
Successful completion of the Heartsaver First Aid Online Course includes three (3) parts:
Part 1 online; can be completed in approximately 2 – 2 ½ hours
Parts 2 and 3, hands-on skills practice and testing session with an authorized AHA Instructor or Heartsaver Skills Evaluator. Time to complete skills practice and testing sessions vary.
Skills check off included with class.
If you complete the course at the RESQ facility, cards will be issued the same day. Online classes are Non-refundable.

Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid Course Completion Card that is valid for two years. During the course, an AHA Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their CPR and AED skills practice and testing.
