ACLS Renewal Course AND BLS Course Overview

Advanced Cardiac Life Support: Our ACLS course will teach you clinical interventions for the urgent treatment of cardiac arrest, stroke, cardiac emergencies and other life threatening medical emergencies, as well as the knowledge and skills to deploy those interventions. Only qualified health care providers can provide ACLS, as it requires the ability to manage the patient’s airway, initiate IV access, read and interpret electrocardiograms, and understand emergency pharmacology.

Basic Life Support: (RESQ will include FREE BLS with your ACLS Renewal Course!)  The Basic Life Support Provider course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life threatening emergencies that could occur in their work environment. This video based course ensures consistent instruction which includes instructor led hands on practice to reinforce skill proficiency.

Testimonials

For American Heart Association courses that include psychomotor skills such as CPR, students must complete a hands-on session to obtain an AHA course completion card. With AHA blended learning, students will practice and test skills to ensure competency during the hands-on session. Hands-on sessions are conducted in person with an AHA Instructor by using a Voice Assisted Manikin (VAM), where available. These skills sessions focus on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, discussions of local protocols, and skills testing.
