I am a teacher, childcare provider or need First Aid for a non-medical workplace. Is this the right First Aid certification for me?
Yes. AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid meets or exceeds certification requirements for Indiana teacher licensure, Indiana childcare provider requirements and any required workplace CPR/AED training needs.
I found a website saying I can complete my certificate 100% online. Is it legit?
No. There is no major nationally recognized training program in the U.S. that endorses CPR or First Aid without practice and evaluation of hands-on-skills.
Can I take a break while working on an online course?
Yes. You can enter and exit the online course section as often as you need. Your completed exercises will be saved if you logout or are inactive for 30 minutes. But courses that require an online test, the test must be completed in a single session with no breaks.
